Techniques of Integrative Spiritual Psychology

Integrative Spiritual Psychology is a holistic depth psychology. It includes an understanding of esoteric/spiritual traditions. In addition to the traditional cognitive therapy, integrative spiritual psychology also offers visualization, guided imagery, meditation, energy and depth work, as well as relaxation techniques, as these are needed.

In a safe, nonjudgmental, loving and affirming space—sacred, open and spacious—the therapist/guide co-creatively works with the client to help him/her attain his/her goals, offering balance, support and stimulation, as needed.

The client is encouraged to work mindfully, consciously and with directed intention. Self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-responsibility, and self-affirmation are held out as elements of creative empowering that can lead to a meaningful, purposeful, cooperative life.
